The DMAI Advocacy Committee provides leadership and guidance for the DMO industry in the areas of advocacy and DMO relevancy, recommending partnerships, best practices and resources to communicate the value and impact of DMOs to their leadership, stakeholders and community.

Committee Chairs:

This event is an opportunity for you to: network with government and industry leaders, gain access to key legislators, giving you a stronger voice in Washington, and fine-tune your understanding of legislative priorities and processes through education and visits to Capitol Hill. A valuable resource, the toolkit provides guidance for building and nurturing your community relations, including key messages to help stakeholders understanding the role your DMO plays in promoting the destination.
