Share Books
Share Books are one of your many idea resources at Visitor Services Shirtsleeves and are designed for bureaus to showcase and share their ideas so that you dont have to re-create the wheel. This year we're taking Share Books online! Post your Share Book documents in the myDMAI Visitor Services File Library prior to Cleveland and gain access to these great examples throughout the year!
What should I include in my share book? Anything that showcases your best ideas! While not limited to these categories, past Share Books have included:
-
Volunteer and/or paid staff training materials
- Personnel Performance Evaluation form
- Programs that are your department's responsibility (brochure inventory systems, volunteer scheduling forms, member outreach programs, etc.)
Business Cards & Item Exchange
In preparation for this year's meeting, please bring 70 of your business cards to distribute onsite. Also, don't forget to bring an easily transportable item (ranging from $15-$20) that is indicative of your destination to exchange with the group. This is a great opportunity to show off your local pride!
